Why a receipt says “Needs a look”

The reader found something uncertain or a sum that needs checking.

Open the receipt

Compare the highlighted fields with the original image. A faded date, an uncertain amount or an item sum can need attention.

Make sure discounts, vouchers, tips, delivery and other charges have not been mistaken for ordinary items. The final total should match the receipt.

Correct the values you can confirm. The receipt image remains beside the fields, so the next person can check the evidence too.
